Accessible Showers & Walk-in Bathtubs
HomeSafe Mobility is a leading distributor of safe, comfortable and durable showers and walk-in tubs for homes, hospitals, universities, and care facilities. All of the product lines we represent are manufactured in the USA. See why the innovative designs built into the products we supply make them the intelligent choice for your safety and comfort. HomeSafe Mobility is dedicated to helping seniors and people of all abilities live independently, and providing fully accessible bathing options is an important aspect of this mission.
Best Bath Walk-in Shower Surrounds set the standard for safety, durability, and beauty. Ideal for home bathroom remodels and for senior care facilities, hospitals, and universities, our low threshold and barrier-free shower surrounds feature structurally reinforced walls and an attractive gelcoat finish. The low threshold showers are of universal design and considered to be a “lifetime shower.” Glass doors can be installed, and, as needs change, the doors and threshold can be removed to make it barrier-free, then reinstalled at a later date.
The quality of the structurally reinforced walls and gel coat finish is far superior to standard fiberglass and acrylic. It is most comparable in price to ceramic tile, but ours has no grout to be cleaned, no mildew to be scrubbed. If ceramic tile is cracked, it is difficult to repair and it is not easy to install grab bars in the tile without cracking them. Our structurally reinforced walls allow grab bars to be installed anywhere in the shower and the gel coat finish is completely repairable, if a grab bar is removed. Your Best Bath shower has a 30 year manufacturer’s warranty, the best in the business.
HomeSafe Mobility and Best Bath have a special plan for our disabled veterans. The Veterans Administration has recognized Best Bath showers as meeting the requirements for remodeling to meet the needs of disabled vets.

When mobility becomes an issue, it can be extremely difficult to get in and out of a normal tub, not to mention dangerous. More accidents occur in the bathtub than anywhere else in the home. Our Best Bath walk-in tubs are designed for safe, soothing, and accessible bathing. Twice the depth of normal tubs, they feature a contoured seat, grab bar, and non-skid floor. Therapeutic jetted tubs with optional tub surrounds are available, as well as an ADL spa which enables a wheelchair bound person to have a luxurious bath. It is easy to slide into from a wheelchair and is installed on a cabinet for extra height and storage. The door seal prevents leaking. Our tubs are also designed with the attractive gel coat finish.
Standard Bathroom Remodels
HomeSafe Mobility also does standard bathroom remodels, for those looking to upgrade and update their bathroom. Best Bath products also include tub and shower units for standard remodels with the same structurally reinforced walls and gel coat finish. We also provide and install grab bars.
Portable Showers & Wheelchair Showers
Do you have a loved one who has just returned from the hospital and can’t get into your bathtub or shower? Perhaps you only have a half bath on the main level and they can’t climb the stairs. Maybe this is just a temporary situation, or remodeling may hamper their recovery. So, what are your options? Keep them in a rehab facility or nursing home; bring them home and give them sponge baths; or purchase a Shower Bay portable wheelchair shower from HomeSafe Mobility.
Shower Bay is a safe and portable shower designed for wheelchair users or patients recovering from a serious illness, surgery, stroke or who may be in a hospice situation. It provides a true shower experience without dangerous wet-environment transfers or expensive home renovations. Shower Bay’s unique design enables HomeSafe Mobility to quickly assemble and install the unit in any room of the home without tools or plumbing modifications. All that is required is access to a kitchen or bathroom sink or tub. One hose is connected to the faucet, and a second hose to the drain. A small portable pump pushes water from the base of the portable shower to the drain with no mess, and easy ramp access eliminates dangerous wet environment transfers. When finished, the ramp and hoses can be removed, placed inside the shower, and the shower doors closed. Simple and attractive.
For temporary situations, Shower Bay can even be rented on a monthly basis. Contact us for details.
